- Put on floor, textured side up, for proprioceptive input to feet when seated in chair and without shoes.
- Hold textured side on head for some deep pressure input.
- Use as a pillow and place head on textured side.
- Use for standing balance.
- Only stand on it with proper safety checks, especially for someone with poor balance.
- Standing on the textured side can be irritating for the feet

- Find attention, focus, and/or self-regulation is increased with physical activity.
- Have trouble sitting still.
