OUR PRESSURE VEST IS RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO: 

  • Have Sensory Processing Disorder, ADD, ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Have decreased body awareness.
  • Need sensory input to focus and/or concentrate.
  • Need easily adjustable products to support many children of different sizes.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

  • Hook and loop tape (often called Velcro) allows for adjustable circumference and shoulder strap length.
  • Choice of longer body length or cut to a shorter body length.
  • Can be used with children who become preoccupied with front closures.
  • Customized sizing available, including adult sizes. Please contact us.
  • Can use body piece around stomach or around hips. 
  • Can use shoulder straps around arms or legs.
  • Use caution with compression garments for children with cardio-pulmonary impairments or ribcage restrictions.
  • Children with neurological deficits are at greater risk for impaired temperature regulation and should be monitored carefully. The fabric does not breathe.

  • Our Pressure Vest is designed to be durable but please check regularly for wear.
  • To wash:Hand wash with mild laundry soap in cool water.  Do not use chlorine bleach or solvents. Rinse well and lay flat to dry.  DO NOT dry in dryer.  Hanging over clothes lines or with clothes pins could leave compression marks.

    If dried outdoors, placing in shade is best.
