Chemical smells. Bright lights. Lying back in a reclining chair. A stranger putting a variety of objects into your mouth! Unfamiliar noises - some of them in your own mouth!! Possible pain!!!
A visit to the dentist is a multi-sensory experience or nightmare, if you are sensory sensitive.
BUT (and its a big but), a dentist is needed to prevent future problems.
